started getting going last week at del mar- let's keep the momentum rolling.

r2: no minimum. have a feeling dee dee's cat is a runner for kruljac, so will be keeping an eye on his price, but will back alex sauque's no minimum, who got an educational run last time from the inside. he drops in for a tag and should show more speed and stick in claimerville.

r3: cee's dancing now. not sure what the price will be (in fact, not sure who the jockey will be as pval looks to be off all mounts today), but this looks like a good claim for spawr. 'cee showed true grit in her debut as she broke last and got up to win going 6.5f. any debut runner that can overcome diversity like that should be respected and we should get at least 3/1 to find out of spawr can move her up.

r5: quartz movement. this one will be a good price will frank alvarado in the irons. hasn't shown much of yet, but looks to have gotten a wake up drill last week for ceasar. big shot in a weak race.

r7: wide open escondido handicap. i'm torn between bonus pack and delta form and will back the one with the better price. both should adore the distance of this marathon race and should appreciate the slightly more lush turf course at del mar. take the better price and hope for the best in a very good betting race.

master, am backing the L.L. often hurt, last two seem as preps for this. he should also enjoy the added distance. I think he has the most upside potential of any in this field.

hey mazel - could no minimum be a bit of a sentimental pick?

I'm backing Delta Form in the 7th. This guy signaled readiness in his last work and like DMR

sail,

pretty juicy price up there at 6/1 rightnow. almeida can ride, although this horse is going to have to come from far back with a soft pace, which means he'll likely have to circle the field. there's a potential for a lot of adversity. these marathon races often come down to the jock and his/her judge of pace. i think i'm going to play bonus pack. kent will be up close and he's got plenty of back class.

treb,

this last race is awful. i'm guaranteed to hit the pick 6 as i literally have "ALL" in this race, so i'll be rooting for the longest shot on the board. as for desormeaux and bold, rhythm, he would be my first choice along with flying pilot. good luck.
